CASE STUDY / WORKPLACE BRANDING / CUSTOM WALL ART

Office Interior Branding for Deloitte Kraków

Office interior branding can make a workplace easier to recognise, navigate and remember without turning every wall into an advertisement. This project for Deloitte’s new office in Kraków used custom wallpapers, posters and canvases to give different spaces their own visual character.

The project in brief

The assignment covered original wall graphics for a new office in Kraków. The final applications included large-format wallpapers, framed posters and canvas artwork. These formats share a visual language, but each responds to a different scale, viewing distance and architectural context.

  • Environment: corporate office in Kraków
  • Applications: wallpapers, posters and canvases
  • Design focus: site-specific graphics for workplace interiors
  • Production context: artwork prepared for physical installation

Personalising an office without adding visual clutter

A contemporary office already contains many competing elements: furniture, signage, screens, meeting-room glazing and everyday work. Effective workplace branding has to live with all of them. It needs presence at architectural scale, but it also needs restraint.

The Deloitte Kraków graphics use composition, colour and recognisable cultural references to create focal points rather than continuous decoration. Large areas of imagery are balanced with quieter surfaces, allowing the artwork to define selected zones and views. The result is closer to an editorial layer within the architecture than to conventional corporate signage.

Designing for scale, distance and real materials

A graphic viewed on a laptop behaves differently when it becomes several metres wide. Details can disappear, contrast changes with lighting and a composition may be interrupted by furniture, corners or doors. For office wall graphics, the design process therefore has to include the physical space from the beginning.

The photographed installations show artwork planned around complete wall surfaces and key sightlines. Bold silhouettes and layered imagery remain legible from a distance, while finer details reward a closer look. This dual scale keeps the graphics useful as environmental features rather than one-shot decorative images.

One visual idea, several production formats

Not every part of an office calls for a full-wall installation. Posters and canvases provide a more modular way to carry the same creative direction into smaller rooms and transitional areas. They can introduce rhythm, create a local point of interest and maintain continuity with the larger wallpapers.

Using several production formats also makes the system more adaptable. A wide wall, a narrow corridor and a meeting space have different needs. The artwork can respond to each setting while preserving a shared tone across the workplace.

Workplace branding as part of the interior

The strongest office branding does not sit on top of the architecture. It works with proportions, materials and movement through the space. In this project, wall art provides distinctive moments while leaving the workplace functional and visually breathable.

For organisations planning a new office or refreshing an existing one, custom wall graphics can connect brand character with the daily environment. The useful question is not how many logos can fit on a wall, but what kind of place employees and visitors should experience.
